I’ve Been There Too…
For years, I searched for guidance outside of myself.
I thought the answers must be out there somewhere—in the latest fitness trends, magazine workouts, or expert opinions on how I should move. As an active teen and later, a professional dancer, I followed rigid plans, pushed harder, ignored exhaustion, and tried to fit into what someone else told me was “healthy.”
But none of it actually helped me feel good in my body.
That’s when I discovered Authentic Movement, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and Fascial Re-Tuning—and I finally started to understand what my body had been trying to tell me all along.
Authentic Movement helped me trust my body’s impulses instead of overriding them.
TCM gave me a framework for understanding how movement, energy, and emotions are intertwined.
Fascial Re-Tuning showed me how to actually shift tension in real-time—working with my body’s connective tissue to create ease, balance, and flow.
I realized that my body wasn’t something to force into submission. It was something to listen to, collaborate with, and move in partnership with.
